Raining Cats And Blogs: 6 Ways to Welcome Buyers Into Your Home By Making the Outside Appealing

6 Ways to Welcome Buyers Into Your Home By Making the Outside Appealing

3- Adding a water feature is another great way to add some tranquility to your yard. It not only attracts the eyes, but the ears as well. And has an added bonus of drowning out any unwanted sounds from the neighborhood.

4- Keep your yard in tip top shape by keeping it watered. You want everything to stay green and lush. Most buyers assume if the landscaping is in great shape, so is the interior of the home.

5- Make any needed repairs to the deck or patio. These areas should be ready for entertaining. Fill in cracks and re-stain the deck, and pressure wash to remove dirt and stains. ( while you are at it, pressure wash the house ) You can add a seating area and some plants for color too! While you are at it, why not add a fire pit. Most everyone loves the thought of sitting out by a fire pit and roasting some marshmellows!

6- Remove any clutter from the yard and garage. Weed the flower beds, add mulch and other landscaping materials like rocks for interest. Make sure to remove all cobwebs from doorways and corners too!

What other ideas do you have for your exterior space? Please feel free to share photos of your landscaping, water features or anything in your yard you think would help others with some ideas to create their best space..

Before we go inside, the outside has to be calling "come here, come here". I am surprised so many listings have "bad" welcome mats with no curb appeal. Buyers should take advantage of these excellent tips.
