Your husband has a bird. Interesting.

And you have cats.

Colorful.

What if one of the cats ate the bird?

Hi Shelia,

Your bird has an appropriate name as it looks like a rainbow. How does the bird get along with the four cats?

Hi Sheila, I loved that story the first time I read it.  Did you ever see the pics of Frisco? or his visit to the office?  Thought you'd get a kick out of him.

Hi Sheila,

Rainbow is quite beautiful and I love your story! LOL!  I had a Love Bird that my husband gave me when we were in college but they don't talk!

Have a great week!

Rainbow is beautiful! I love birds especially the singing one and the ones that talk too!

I had a great Double Yellow Head Parrot named Mr. Peabody and he was quite the talker.  They live to be well over 100 years old so you have to be careful what you teach them to say.  My EX took him when she left many years ago.  Before he left, I taught him a really bad song and I heard that he sang it often, and in my voice too.  Talk about a gift that kept on giving.

What an absolutely stunning animal!  How old is it?  It's hard to imagine living as long as macaws do.  I hope the cats get along with it alright!

Sheila, Rainbow is one pretty bird!  I love the way you got the blue feathers.

Susan - - thanks.. that would be great.. he could be another buyer’s agent. J

Erv – LOL… well, the bird is bigger than most of the cats so they are more afraid of him than the other way around..

Anne – this one could, believe me. J

Kristin – that is where he got his name … they are afraid of him and he actually chases them sometimes.. J

Mona – no… I will go take a look at that now.. J

DeeDee – Rainbow does talk some, not as well as African grays, but he has a good vocabulary.. J

Sussie – he can be fun to have around.. he doesn’t sing, but does talk some

Doug – LOL.. now that is a funny story.. sounds like it would make a great blog.. J

Carissa – Rainbow is 13.5 years old now.. we have had him since he was 6 months old.

Patricia – he has so many colors.. I collect the ones he loses. They make quite a bouquet!
